Liz Walker, the co-founder of EcoVillage (a sustainable community in Ithaca, NY) has written a new book, Choosing a Sustainable Future, that details Ithaca’s vision of environmentally-conscious community transformation. She contacted me this summer about using one of my water photographs for the cover and chose Harmony, a beautiful image of rocks and ripples photographed in Cascadilla Gorge.
Valuing the water resources here and maintaining a positive rapport with nature is important. I hope efforts made by visionaries like Liz Walker help people make better choices about water resources and our environment as a whole, and I’m happy that my art can be a part of that.
