Life Is Water: A Concert

As many of you know, my photography is heavily bound into the inspiring landscape of the Finger Lakes Area in Upstate NY. We are blessed with rich water resources and a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, this is coming under attack by groups that want to use dangerous natural gas drilling techniques.

The Life is Water concert at the State Theater in Ithaca, NY, this Saturday (December 5th) will benefit the Shaleshock Citizens Action Alliance. Donna the Buffalo, the Horse Flies, and the Sim Redmond Band will all be performing.

Mara Alper, with whom I collaborated on a YouTube project, has produced an educational video to be played during the concert. Some of my water photography is included in her educational film.

If you want to support the fight against natural gas fracking in the Finger Lakes and see some of my art, please consider attending this concert.

Please check my web site, Helenaart.com, to see some of my recent water photography.

Helena Cooper
