I have been thinking for a while about having my studio open more often, making it more convenient for those of you who want to purchase art, cards, photograph magnets — or even if you just want to stop by and get a feel for my current pieces. If any of my open studio dates don’t work for you, feel free to call me to make an appointment.
I will be open for Mothers’ Day on May 8th (Saturday) from 2:00 - 4:30. While the sale is officially over, my unframed mixed media and unframed watercolors will continue to be marked down.

When I paint—true to my Brazilian heritage—I work with deep, bold, earthy colors, sensual textures, and strong, rhythmic forms. Drawing upon mythical, archetypal dimensions, my art connects viewers to realms of primitive, instinctual consciousness. When I'm photographing, I'm still an abstract painter. The way the interplay of light and water creates shapes, the dance of light on water, the translucent sky, the fluid, ever-shifting mystery of water itself—these moments inspire me to create paintings with my camera.
